Smash in face.

TristieHat

The basic gist of the deck is pumping, creating, and eventually over running the enemy With the larger creatures, and if that doesn't work, mage slayer would get the job done just as easily.

Gorzo

Neat take on Riku! I'd like to see the {Gyre Sage} get out of hand in this deck especially!

Mlerner12

{Jhoira of the Ghitu} could help smash your opponent!

TristieHat

Just a quick update, removed 2 forests and added a breeding pool and sapseep forest, and removed a mountain to make place for madcap mountain, replaced cancel and spell rupture for dismiss and plasm capture, respectively.

TristieHat

Also, a quick question, I just came across a Trygon Predator, Simic Skyswallower, Lorescale Coatl, and a stormtide Leviathan, what would you all recommend switching out from the deck for any/all of the listed?

{Trygon Predator} screams value in riku

Seriously counterspells are horrid in riku, unless they are the very best ones... Hinder, spell crumple, mana drain, force of will....

Take out the others for more value.

.                                                                  Now I respect your view and opinion, I don't feel it would be smart to remove any more counters, replace one or two, sure- but I feel safe having at least a one in ten chances if having a counter ready.

Surprised you don't have Voidslime
This was all built with what I have, that card is something that I am looking to get soon.

I can accept that with regards to what your build is about...

So next suggestion...  {Deadeye Navigator}

That I've actually been looking into, I also got my hands on a {Intet, The Dreamer}.

I know you have doubling season, but if you're iffy on a slot,  {Parallel Lives} is just another token maker for ya.

TristieHat

Another update, thoughts?

Gorzo

Looking pretty good :) I just noticed {Doubling Season} - any room in there for {Primal Vigor}? Double is nice, but quadruple is great! And having two copies if (essentially) the same card gives you twice twice the chance to draw one when you want it.

Yeah, I have been looking into getting a {Primal Vigor}, and I do have a {Parallel Lives} off to the side somewhere, though I'm not entirely sure what I can move around in this deck, So far everything it is running smoothly, and I can't see any other things I can remove besides replacing the more vanilla counterspells with stuff like {Hinder}.
