MY MILL DECK! Here's the link: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/dimir-sight-of-it/

Obviously, I'm dancing around a few win cons (Mill/Bombs/Card Advantage), and they all work pretty well right now; I just needs to be tweaked a LOT!

And below I've also put a regular deck list.

Please offer suggestions on how to make it EVEN better!

4x {Wall of Frost}

I've learned that if you're going to make a mill deck that you need to go all in on it. I feel like you need to take out a few things that aren't focused on milling and go more in on the mill aspect, but that's just my opinion.

Dmreiss

⬆️  Mill is all or nothing.  Whenever I have tried to mix, it has not gone well.  When it is front and center you can keep your opponent on their toes. When it shared the spotlight you are really only taking away half the threats.

LadyGrixis

Okay......so instead of just saying "it's not 100% Mill", could you maybe suggest some card additions? I have a Maybeboard full of possibilities, as well as other suggestions.

Dmreiss

 {Tome Scour},   {Jace, Memory Adept}

Dmreiss

What I really like about mill is that you get to see a whole lot of their deck. It can help with side boarding.

{Tome Scour},   {Jace, Memory Adept}

I have {Jace, Memory Adept}. Should I add more? And {Tome Scour} is so hit or miss....it mills 3 with no additional benefits; now if we had a {Dream Twist} in Standard, then that would be great since it's a double Mill essentially. Alas, we don't :(

Dmreiss

Tome scour is 5 cards, yeah, I would add at least another Jace.

Dmreiss

 {Psychic Strike}... Oops. You already have that one.

Mattao19

Trust me {Tome Scour} is just too slow I subbed it out for counter magic/control cards like removal etc

Dmreiss

LadyGrixis

Okay, 5 cards.

Phenax's ability works off of Milling based off of other creatures' toughness. That's why I have {Wall of Frost} 0/7 and {Desecration Demon} 6/6, so large toughness with great abilities. {Omenspeaker} has a good toughness as well as the ability for me to Scry into the cards I need.

Where should the extra Jace go?

LadyGrixis

{Paranoid Delusions} has the potential to be good, but only if you can always hit your opponent. So I'd have to figure out how to add in {Aqueous Form} to be Unblockable, which is a whole new combo dilemma.

Paranoid delusions is not what you want you want to control the board state then mill them away

Yes, which is why I said it has the potential, but not in this deck.

Any other suggestions?
