Only 2 Born of the Gods packs at the prerelease??

WHAT?!?! Part of the point of the prerelease for is to get to play with a bunch of new cards! I already went to the theros prerelease, I don't need to do that again!!

What do you guys think? The whole point of a prerelease is to "experience the newest Magic: The Gathering set a week before it goes on sale!"

To me, only 2 packs is not enough. Am I going too crazy about this?

The seeded pack might be semi randomized like theroses was. Could still hit mythics?

I think it is because this is a small set. However, I do agree with you.  Also, I don't think there is a chance of getting a decent rare in the semi randomized pack.  Those are usually packs of 15 cards pulled from a pool of 30-40 cards.

Dragon's Maze was a small set, and they gave us 4 packs of that....

Would have been nice to get more of the set on prerelease rather than more theros..

there's even more theros than born of the gods! 3 botg / 2 theros would have been different, but this is crazy! Do you think they had a printing problem or something? otherwise I can't see why they would do this....

i don't see how a printing problem would cause this. Maybe born of the gods was too difficult to get synergies to draft, so they decided it wasn't a drafting set. So they added theros for glue or something

prereleases aren't draft, unless I'm reading what you wrote wrong and you don't mean what I think you're saying. Also, I'm with Taysby, I may not go to the prerelease, although I will be sad without having a promo. guess I gotta buy one online

i hit mythics in seeded guild packs for RTR. I'm sure it's possible here too.

Mythics were in Theros seeded packs, but only the god for the corresponding color pack. Since the gods in Born of the Gods are all two-colored, I'm not sure that  it will be an option this time.
