The fact that I can only have one of him on the field at any given time is also restricting. That's the only reason he's not in the main.

True but your deck doesn't look like it relies too heavily on your non-token creatures to win. I think that, in the case of the decks PoluK is good against, you'll probably still get value making him a monster, playing another, saccing, and making the new one a monster.

In decks with a lot of removal, he'll soak up spells better used against your dragons game one and you can board him out for something more useful game 2.
