Sum peeepoe these days!

Hakuu

Well he said that he doesn't know you wand he can't see your creds so he is maintaining his argument that after he blocks it with enough creaters to kill it all his other creatures are free to block all my others attackers. He demands to see a rule in the official rule book that says this.   I think the only reason he protest it so much is because I have an elf token deck and that card has killed him every time it comes out.

BlackJester

It sounds like he is going to refuse any evidence I could present, but here we go:
Go to DCI player center and enter in his DCI number. If he doesn't have one, he should. They are free and you need it to play in tourneys.

Then look me up:
Brodi Roberts
DCI: 1200332867
Status: Rules Advisor
This means that I passed a challenging test to demonstrate a level of rules understanding worthy of judging official events like FNM or Prereleases.

Then show him the Golden Rule of Magic: the Gathering (I'm not making this up, it's officially called the golden rule from the Comprehensive Rule Book):

CR 101.1. Whenever a card's text directly contradicts these rules, the card takes precedence. The card overrides only the rule that applies to that specific situation. The only exception is that a player can concede the game at any time (see rule 104.3a).

And then this one:
CR 509.1c The defending player checks each creature he or she controls to see whether it's affected by any requirements (effects that say a creature must block, or that it must block if some condition is met). If the number of requirements that are being obeyed is fewer than the maximum possible number of requirements that could be obeyed without disobeying any restrictions, the declaration of blockers is illegal. If a creature can't block unless a player pays a cost, that player is not required to pay that cost, even if blocking with that creature would increase the number of requirements being obeyed.

Psssshhhhhh. Everyone Jester has brought out the big guns i repeat Jester has brought out the big guns. It is advise to take cover and hope to god Lucy does not find you. May god have mercy on your soul.

BlackJester

Ask him what rule say that he only needs to block with enough creatures to kill the bard.

Hakuu

I will and ur awesome

You know, that just made my day.   :D

I thought for sure he would find some other excuse or something.  "This BlackJester person probably just made all that up."
