Well, they showed really old boosters, so I'd imagine not a the beginning but at around Time Spiral with the war between Mishra and Urza. It'd be really cool if they started at Shards though!

Hey the first movie was awesome!!! It seemed weird with Christopher Lambert throwing lightning instead of chopping heads off with a sword... #2 was horrible...

Which was amazing in its time, but to back up the point you were trying to make: did you all miss the part where it announced the people behind the Fantastic Four movie is behind this?!?!?! IMO, franchise already doomed.
