Draft

I was thinking the only thing imtg doesn't have is a draft simulator. That would be amazing if you could put that in here too.

That is not at all the only thing which iMtG is missing and at this stage I have no concrete plans for it. Note this is not the same as saying no.

A draft sim would be cool. I enjoyed some of the others in the App store but I didn't want to pay for each expansion update. I ended up deleting that app after getting tired of Scars drafting over and over again. I imagine the real work is setting up the sim mod......configuring it to use different expansions seems like the easy part.

If you're talking about Decked Drafter, what I see as the biggest challenge is the commentary and points that need to be set by some drafting pro. I'm not able to do it myself.

I could careless about the commentary personally. But that's just me. I can see how it's helpful but it would be very challenging to add decent commentary for all 10,000+ cards printed. I just think it would be neat to do a beta draft and see what I come up with

Well you could skip the commentary but you have to base your engine on something, and a point system seems natural first stage for that. I mean, you have to make the AI against which you draft make some kind of reasonable decisions, instead of just grabbing the mythics, right?

You could have a mock draft with 7 other members. Then the engine would have to gen 8 boosters, and track what each person picked and the table order.

I'm not saying any of this is easy, just throwing it out there.

I too had the drafter and would love to be able to do it here
