Tommarow supposed to be 12 degrees F

They have delayed school for 2 hours.

I live in SC, and I used to live up north.

This is pathetic ._.
I remember living in NC. One day there was like 1/2 inch of snow and I, being a New Yorker, put on my stuff and went out to the bus stop. After an hour, my father, whom had gone to work, came back home and picked me up at the bus stop. They just can't handle snow down there.
I concur. Living in NC, and being from Chicago, it's funny when people here complain about it being before freezing and a small smidgen of white frost...

And then summer happens...

It's better than unbearable humidity. I love it. I don't have to worry about walking outside and wanting another shower in two seconds.

Heat here is completely bearable. I suggest coming to experience it first hand YEAR ROUND before passing judgement.

Heat is nothing. You can adapt to heat. Humidity you cannot adapt to. If its humid enough outside, your body will not sweat, and you will overheat. But I have spent a total of 14 months in an average of 135 degree heat, and I tell you, when I got back here and it was 80 outside, I was wearing sweats for about 2 months!!

a 105 degree sunny day is totally fine, as long as it's got dry air, a pool, and has plenty of cold beverages.

My town was placed under a state of emergency with wind chills dipping into the -40's. Don't know if I'm actually supposed to know this, but there have been several confirmed deaths already. My dog and my brother's dog both had to be carried inside after collapsing trying to go to the bathroom. Both showed the starting signs of hypothermia. A big section of the interstate was shut down and people were being ticketed just for driving in it. Then a snow plow hit a pole an knocked power out for just under twelve hours.  Fun stuff.

The coldest ive seen in Illinois was back when I was in junior high... like 93-94.... normal air temp was -25 F with wind chill getting into triple digits... every thing was closed down, except for emergency vehicles. The police were issuing citations at the time for being outside...
