If I equip this to a card with a triggered ability, like {Aurelia, the War Leader} for example, does her ability get copied? Or is it strictly activated abilities?

The bracers are strictly activated abilities. You would need to use {strionic resonator} to accomplish the copy

Strictly activated abilities. For triggered abilities, you'll need something that specifically says triggered abilities, like {Strionic Resonator}
