Notes:
🔥🔥🔥👍    Not too sure about {Emberwilde Augur}. The guy is amazing! Especially with Hasty effects like {Inner-Flame Acolyte} and {Slayers' Stronghold}. But I almost want to just say he's a bad {Rift Bolt}???

InfinitiveDivinity

Nothing? I love this deck. It has cards I've never seen played in Modern before, an I.D. original, lol. It's super aggressive.

Silent1236

Yeah, those {Lightning Helix}s and {Lightning Bolt}s never see Modern play 😜  :P jkjk

I actually kinda like {Emberwilde Augur}.  He's a little squishy, but he's a 2/1 body that can deal direct damage if need be.

InfinitiveDivinity

Slight modifications. It's a bit more aggressive now.

Mike_garzone

{ball lightning} over the reckoner perhaps? Could definetly speed the deck up, but then again, {boros reckoner} is just awesome

InfinitiveDivinity

Completely revamped the deck. Had a few play sessions recently and did not like it. Dropped Ajani altogether an made it essentially mono 1-Drops. Looks pretty sweet!I like the idea of Lavamancer and Deathrite together. More {Shock} power 😉 May not be enough fuel for them though. I think the build is better now at least, more streamlined.

I would say - 4 {Hellspark elemental}
-2 {Pillar of Flame} (should only be in sideboard)
- 4 {Path to Exile}
+ 2 {Rift Bolt}
+4 {Lava Spike}
+ 4 {Bump in the Night}

I agree with this^. since you have access to white and fetches  {Steppe Lynx} can be strong and help push damage through although it's an inconsistent card

There are two different decks: burn and landfall. Burn packs as many {lightning bolt}s as possible into one deck and is Dega, while landfall uses {steppe lynx}, {plated geopede}, and {Knight of the reliquary} to get ridiculously fast wins and is in Naya colors.

Oh, I was referring to the boros landfall deck tht ran the landfall creatures, guides and hellapark elementals, burn, helix, boros charms, paths, etc. Can't remember if it ran Ajani V or not.

They do have a lot of overlap, but combining them doesn't really work that well. Landfall is mainly creature-based, while burn is mainly spell-based.

To the OP, if you want to make burn, my original recommendations still stand.

Hmmm... I'll definitely have to consider those changes. I'm not sure what I want this deck to be yet.

Joshnoodles

I think the way you have the deck right now is good because it's a solid fast burn deck that can also have a fairly good late game thanks to the hell sparks, lavamancers, and deathrites. Most burn decks have a big problem with getting past turn 5-6 so to have a solid late game in burn is really good.

You don't really want to get past turn 5-6 with burn, and since it won't kill them quick enough, it'll get outraced by combo and midrange.

Might I suggest {spark trooper} for a midrange attack and life gain move
