So, I'm noticing (seriously, no offense intended) that a lot of the people on here are Canadian.  For some reason I find that kind of interesting.

It's a fallacy. I can't remember the legitimate name of it, but my philosophy teacher called it "The Lane Change Fallacy"

The reason it seems like there is a lot of Canadians, is because you've noticed that a few people were from Canada. Now you always notice when people talk about how they are from Canada, so your brain has created a pattern and feels it necessary to reinforce that pattern.

The reason it's called a lane change fallacy is because it always seems like the other lane is moving faster, because when you're driving - you're not looking at the lane beside you sitting still, you're driving.

If you were to take actual objective research you'd probably find a lot of Americans on here, and an appropriate number of ( boisterously outspoken, and overly opinionated) Canadians.

Ok, so in my stupid terms, thats the thing where you see something, then you see it over and over and over again?  Like, I hear the name of a song, then I seem to hear that song all the time?  If so, then that is what happens to me a lot lol.  Or does it actually happen a lot?  Am I just noticing it more?  Which way is up? 

That happens to me too. I'm minding my own business and someone says something; then they say it again and again and again every day. Same with songs. :|
