Public Apology to Respawned

Respawned and I made a trade a few months ago, and he decided to send first , being nice, especially because this is one of my first trades. After receiving his, I sent out mine. We kept waiting and waiting, and after 3 weeks, decided that they got lost in the mail. Now respawned has been waiting for his cards back, which I offered to send.

Basically time kept getting in my way, and every day I tried to go mail them, I got caught up, from my moms surgery to various other things. The most recent time this happened, my sister started moving out. We all helped her load stuff in storage since there was extra furniture. I had brought the trade as we were gonna stop by the post office and send it afterwards but somehow the cards ended up in the storage facility. After we got to the post office, my I realized it wasn't there, and my dad realized he packed it away. We didn't have time to make the 2 hour drive back, and my sister said she would get it with me soon.

So now I'm waiting until my sister is free to take me there, as I cannot open it without her being there.

I wanted to make this public because you all should know. I know my karma is gonna plummet from all this. So to re compensate, I will be sending some extra cards back. {Temple of Triumph} and {Stormbreath Dragon} for a $20 refund for the wait, including all of respawneds cards. If you feel I should add more, I will add more in order to make this right.

Note 1: I did lose about $50 in the mail.

Note 2: I will not be trading anymore on here. The risk of losing my cards is awful, and my  life is too chaotic to ensure good trades. Any cards I add on my needed or anything are there so I can keep track of them, not to trade.

Respawned, I truly am sorry that your cards have been away from you. I absolutely promise you I had and have NO intention of stealing, and I want to reimburse you your time and patience. I hope I can make this right to you.

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

Good job for being the good guy :) +1

respawned

I appreciate you taking responsibility on this and making a public apology...even thou it has been awhile you don't need to send extras especially that much...I am however appreciative that you are willing to do that...all I am concerned with is the original cards that I sent

No neg karma from me and I'll actually +1 once I finally receive

Again thank you for stepping up

Silent1236

Excellent job, Dylan. +1 from me as well. Not many people will own up to things like this.

Dang, you didn't say anything about this respawned!

For high value trades use tracking that way things don't get "lost" and you can feel confidant in trading online without the risk of losing cards due to the mail.

rarehuntertay

Even with tracking, you can't guarentee that your package will arrive. I've had issues with the postal service the past few months. First, it takes them a month to deliver a trade to me. And the envelop was completely shredded. Another time they lost a package with tracking on it. They are still searching for it. Another 60 days and I get my money back. Needless to say, sometimes the postal service isn't too reliable.

Stromack

+1 way to take responsibility. Now if we could only get more people like that

Don't like tarnishing reputations...even thou it has been awhile he has been communicating is why I haven't mentioned it to anyone

Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth

Its refreshing to see something worked out instead of just bringing it to trials. +1

I have yet the pleasure to trade on here, but great to see people like you on here!

I have sent back your cards Respawned in first class

When I saw the title of the post, I simply had to check it out. Dylan, you've effectively given me my daily requirement to see more faith restored in humanity and further cemented my faith in the Magic Community. +1 to you, good man.

gtfotis

Are his cards still worth the same they were when you guys traded? I know values fluctuate like crazy @_@

xStrayKnightx

To be honest, probably not worth what they were. But it's to Dylan's credit that he's sending the value of the trade as it stood.
