I'm going to try this out at FNM tonight. Hopefully I will throw some people off of their game because I haven't seen anyone playing Izzet.

I would take out two goblin rally and put in one molten birth and one magma jet because rally is a bit to fat

True but you always have to think in worst case. Like you have 3 lands out and you need that fourth and you need to make sure you reduce the chance of bigger cards that are great but could slow you down

Have you considered  {Purphoros, God of the Forge} because he always does well with goblin rally and other token cards
