Good luck even finishing a pack to power.

I completely agree. I have known about 20 people that try to do it and they never get anywhere. Why? Because that means u are asking people to loose value on cards. And almost nobody is willing to do that. So again, have fun with that.

Yeah barely anyone is into the idea of lo
osing value on trade items. Let alone standard cards and trying to trade for older ones.

Then again, some players are cool and like the trading concept of magic and are down with it.

I would say do this activity right when BoG is released and the values are so overinflated.

Right now is a sad time for standard magic and money.

I have seen some people who have done it (actually documented and everything) and they say the best thing to do is to get a pack of Zendikar so at the very least you get full art basic. Plus, if you pull a foil Fetchland, you don't have much to do.
