Rules Below, participants listed on page 7!

For those of you who didn't see my original thread: I am hosting a wall game tourney with a casual format. To clarify my meaning of Casual: I am talking about a just for fun format, there is no banned list (with the exception of Power Nine), however I will set a loose restriction on decks. There will be no Combo decks or any sort of t1-t2-t3 win. T4 is fine as it allows for fast aggro. The idea is for all of you who decide to participate to have fun and maybe test out a brew. You do not have to own the cards for the deck, so you may run the deck through a program such as Cockatrice. Minimum deck size is 60 cards and there is no maximum deck size, all recent rules changes apply (sideboards and legend). Before the tournament begins you must post a deck list in the Casual section and label it so we all know what it is. Good Luck, but above all have fun!

Additional Rules:
If I feel that you are cheating, I reserve the right to DQ you. In addition to that, if your deck breaks the guidelines, or prevents your opponent from doing anything ({Moat}, {Stasis}), I also reserve the right to DQ you, I will not DQ once deck lists are posted, but I will based on how the games turn out. If you post a deck list, and I feel it breaks the guidelines I will ask you to change.

All DCI guidelines and rules basically apply (I.e. Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Cheating, Lying, etc.)

If you need a ruling, feel free to ask me or another person you feel is qualified to answer.

Ideally I will have one more person modding this with me, if you want to do that contact me. They will have the same power I do to DQ and answer rulings.

Good Luck!

How often will we need to be able to play? I usually don't have so much time...

Also, can we

A. Use a sideboard

B. If we're just testing a deck, make small changes between games? (Like making land base more consistent by playing 4 hallowed fountain 3 breeding pool instead of 3 hallowed fountain 4 breeding pool)

lotrwk

I'll sign up. Does control count as not allowing people to do things? If not, I'll play my standard 5 colour control

A: yes
B: no

Also, time limit will be usually about a week per round.

No, what I mean is lockdown cards like i mentioned before or taking an excessive amount of extra turns.

Mind looking at my deck to decide if you think it's fair? I have 2 time stretches and 2 temporal masterys in my unexpected results deck... Not sure if that counts. It's in the casual section and called "unexpected results" (no idea how to link things, sorry)

If you think it's ok, I'm in. But I may have to concede and drop out if I can't finish my matches on time :(

I'll play, not sure what I'll use.

I think a good guide is any deck that is all from the same block is fine (ok maybe not caw blade, affinity, or decks from the urza's combo winter, but otherwise).

how do you move something so that it stays at the top of the section and doesn't move down when someone makes a new topic? i think we should do that for this thread.

Sticky it. We would have to ask a mod to do it.

we should do that. should someone pm gorzo or a mod who actually plays wall games?
