Just picked up the first book in the gentlemen bastards series lets see how this goes

How are you liking it? I finished it earlier this week.

I just finished The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. It's a quick read (started it this morning, took a four hour break to play The Last of Us, and just finished it) and is highly recommended.

I absolutely lived The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. I got him to sign a copy of it along with a few other things when he came to Dallas for his last US book signing tour. (He won't be doing signing tours anymore because of his poor hands)

As for good books to read, I've really enjoyed Doomed and Damned buy Chuck Palahnuik. As for comics if you're in to a bit of darker stuff I'd recommend Darkhorse's X, and Ten Grand by JMS and Ben Templesmiths ( although been isn't doing the artwork anymore. Boo!) For just goods reads period, comic wise I suggest Saga, American Vampire, Polarity, Dream Thief, Clive Barkers Next Testament and The Wake by Scott Snyder :)

I have no clue if its mentioned yet but the killing joke batman comic was awesome, and death of the family was in a similar vein of amazing ness.
