which would you prefer?

So I've modded my {oloro, ageless ascthetic}
Deck to pieces

I'm curious if you had to choose between
{Soldier of the panthenon}
Or
{Baleful strix}

Which would you go with and why,
I'm using panthenon currently because evasion.

Assuming you're talking EDH, since it's Oloro.

I personally would go with the Strix. It's a great defensive card that discourages a lot of attacks against you. And it even gives you a card back!

Of course it depends on your deck, too. If you're going aggressive voltron style, Pantheon is pretty good at attacking with equipment and auras on him.

That seems like a good body for what it does in those colors.

Also. Though 2/1 for one is good stats for a one drops. If the opponent doesn't play many multicolored creatures/spells, your in trouble

Yeah, i guess my next question is far to blanket to be really fair to awnser but I assume that mulitcolor edh is far more prominent?

My oloro edh which gorzo guessed correctly,  is actually not voltron at all but completely centered around the loss and gain of life.

Strix. You already gain plenty of life with Oloro, you don't really need such a small engine. It'll also become a target really fast. Strix draws you a card (Possibly multiples if it's recurred in any way) and gives you proper air defense. Deathtouch and Flying are really good together in that way (Though not as goof as first strike and deathtouch, lol).

Usually people don't chump too much in EDH and sending anything at someone with a flying death touch is a bad move IMO
