Ps-would a poison counter count as one more card milled? I'm considering a deck that is not dedicated infect or anything, but has some poison counters.

I've actually never had the poison counter thing come up - that's a good question. If it's just infect, I'd say damage would mill as normal. If you're giving a player (the horde) a poison counter another way somehow, I honestly don't know how to deal with that lol

Dylan might have a response. If not, though, I think the Unbreathing Horde gets in for lethal damage.

Bird's {Vaporkin} can block the {Skaab Ruinator} or {Stitched Drake} if necessary, for whatever good that might do

Don't forget, Jace's +1 is reducing all attacker's power by 1 too, for what it's worth.

Edit: Just an FYI: player life total right now is 48. Unbreathing horde is attacking as a 46/47 (thanks to Jace's -1/-0) also attacking the players are a 1/2 zombie and a 4/6 {Skaab Ruinator}. The other 1/2 zombie and the {stitched drake} are attacking Jace. So, if Dylan has no responses, you can actually survive the hit with 1 health by blocking the Ruinator. Epic comeback? Lol

Also, two of the fair decks I considered brining were a modern sliver deck [virulent sliver] and a standard orzhov deck.

In addition to wondering how points on counters would work, how does it work if the hoard gains life? Put cards from graveyard into library? Add 2/2 tokens to the deck? Prevent the next damage dealt? Or, like in Dand D, healing spells hurt or have no effect on the hoard?
