Which is better, {Rune-Sacred Demon} or {Reaer of the Abyss}?

 {Iona, Shield of Emeria}, sorry couldn't resist.

Depends on the deck, if you have a token deck with blood artist and sac outlet obviously the second (lmao forgot the name when posting (Edit: reaper of the abyss)).  If you have a deck with super combos, a {diabolic tutor} creature helps pull them off.

I would have to say the {Rune-Scarred Demon}.

It could be brought into a better combo instead of hoping the opponent has enough creatures to justify the high mana cost. Or wasting the resurrection spells.

You can use the res. spell on the rune scarred demon to tutor for a big baddie, then use a {Belbe's Portal} or an {Aether Vial} to bring it out.

{Rune Scarred Demon} is much better, IMO.
Yeah, I've heard tutors are pretty good.

Ugh... Tough one. Tutor vs. Removal...... Umm.... Both great demons. I have stated before demons are tough cause of usual negative effects against owner. Gonna go with Rune though. Love tutor and in my opinion, better art.

Huh... I'm seeing it as a 6/6 flyer for 7 and a 6/6 flyer for 6. So reaper has me there

Then you've got an ability that can trigger multiple times as opposed to once. So I guess context really does matter, but the reaper ability is it's own repeatable kill spell. I guess rune-scarred would be best for getting that piece of a combo you really wanted, but idk, i really like killing things :3

I run both in my Kaalia deck. Rune-Scarred Demon I run alongside {Conjurer's Closet} for repeatable tutoring.
And Reaper from the Abyss is hilarious alongside {Sheoldred, Whispering One} and {Shadowborn Demon}.

Both are really good cards, and whether one's better than the other depends on how each player would play them.
