What's this ISO thing I keep seeing in the trade sub-board? Another term I think might need explaining.

Power 9 does not include {Mox Opal}! The five "Moxen" in Power 9 are: {Mox Jet}, {Mox Emerald}, {Mox Sapphire}, {Mox Ruby}, and {Mox Pearl}.
As is should not. Opal is very weak by comparison.
Also they were made nearly a decade apart :P

I was disappointed that such an obvious mistake was in a terms to know post...and worse, it took over 4 months for the mistake to be noticed.
Ah now i see whats going on. If no one else has fixxed it when I get off work then Ill fix it.

Haha dammit.  I do that every time.  Opals and pearls are totally the same thing, right??  :D  Thanks for keeping up on this, guys!  I've been slacking since I posted this :(

What does "Rock" mean? I have often found it associated with BG decks ?_?

Rock (or "The Rock", named after the pro wrestler) is midrange deck that would specialize in disruption, alongside solid removal and efficient creatures. Often times it makes use of an extensive sideboard plan.

So a "The Rock" deck is not always a BG deck, isn't it?

Spikepit

On the whole, yes, but not specifically.

Ryggrad82

What are the terms like RUG, Junk and the rest of the wedges actually supposed to mean? I figured that RUG and BUG are red/blue/green and black/blue/green...

Mobsie

Why junk for white, green and black ? D:

5/9 Turtle

Someone should update the wedge names

Kyle the mtg guy

Bant looks like a nice control deck or usa
