I don't collect a specific ard, but i do collect playable sets of all releases... The biggest problem comes with things like From the Vault and Commander when I have to buy four of each.... Then I wonder why I'm broke :-/

Setting yourself up for failure there. XD
Oh the plus side, if he succeeds, he has an amazing collection and can make any deck ever.

Step 1: Buy playsets of blocks.
Step 2: Make any deck ever.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: PROFIT!

{Giant Spider} too but {G} has dropped off my radar the last couple of years.

I have long wanted to get a Giant Spider from every core set. Then for m13, I will take a {Towering Indrik}, grab a sharpie, and write "GODDAMN M13 GIANT FRICKEN SPIDER" on it.

Still laughing over this ^^ hahahah

The good part is I can pay for my kids college if I ever have one. Hahah. But yeah. A lot of money tied up in my collection. But it is worth a lot.

Got a playset of black lotuses yet? If you have 4, you can only play 1 in vintage. So why not send one of the extra 3 to me?? :D

Do you collect playlets of alpha and beta? That must be expensive.

I do not currently have any power 9's. When I was ating alpha and beta there was no "power 9" got a few nightmares from bith sets thought. My playable sets collection start at 5th edition. Always looking for everything though if the card is right and the price is right. When it comes to the <2000 sets I only buy full sets at this point. >2000 i'll do card by card for what i need. It's actually not too bad if you wait post rotation to finish off the set on most cards before prices start going back up. Some cards you just have to shell out the dough.
