{Talrand, the Sky Summoner} is amazing and really difficult to deal with.

{Phelldagryff}. 'Nuff said. If you want to win but lose friends, {Zur, the Enchanter}.

Yeah, why her? You can't use her second ability in EDH...
Actually, you can. Commander decks are 99 cards... and a commander. If you have an extra copy of your commander, it's fine.

Edit: You can also just use your general for its colors. A lot of {U} generals are pretty nasty, but this one has a repeatable unsummon and doesn't look so intimidating.

I'm fairly certain that's not how it works. EDH is designed to be a singleton format. If you were allowed two copies of your commander, that would kind of defeat the purpose.

{Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir}  or  {Kira, Great Glass-Spinner} are better commander choices if you want to go mono blue. Like LadyGrixis said, the second ability on your Mage is unusable in EDH.
I don't know about unusable, I'm sure there's some goofy way to use it, but probably not even close to worth it.

Not unusable as in unplayable, but as in the fact that EDH is a singleton format so using grandeur is impossible.

This is wrong. You can only have one of each card; this includes your commander.

Youre right. I looked it up. I need to start looking up rulings when people in my lgs open their mouths... -.-
