Lol I'm the designated baker in my family. I can bake just about anything. When I can't sleep at night sometimes I just bake random stuff and my housemates wake up to goodies xD

My family has decided that since I go to culinary school I get to have the honor of making the turkey... Usually. Not looking forwards to this year though as I am cooking with my grandmother and the turkey is not my designated job.

In other news when the jar of vanilla paste is finished fill it with sugar and use that to store it. It will add a slight vanilla taste to it.

I don't cook or bake anymore really. I cooked for five years as a career and it took my passion for cooking away.

One of my best friends has the same issues...the love hate relationship with cooking. He's an executive chef but he gets burned out so fast.
