Right!? The new gen (please don't take offense) doesn't know about reading the books and then seeing the card representation. That used to be one of my favorite parts. I would wait to buy cards till i had read the book just to see the the characters that made the cut

Screw a movie. The people who make movies out of books have a habit of changing things way too much. They should make an anime. And while the people creating the anime will change things up a little they'll not have to cut out as much to make it work. They'll be able to tell all the stories from the beginning and it will be visually stunning.

Honk about how much the special effects would cost. Maybe a tv show. But look at Legend of the Seeker. Terrible.

They could do that too, but I've always been a huge anime fan and a supporter of anime as an idea. Animating a scene that was in a movie opens up so much more potential. There's only so much people can do, and think about it, in the magic world how many things can be recognized as human? There are so many things big and small that are monstrous and weird and impossible to do when you have humans to do it with and some cgi. Yeah that fireball looks cool, but the actor playing the Chandra that just shot it really doesn't fit her at all and so on. When you take all human limitations out of the picture your possibilities are endless. Imagine a season of said anime focusing on the zendikar block and all the awesome eldrazi and jace the mind sculptor doing awesome stuff and nissa and Sorin doing all their adventure stuff or whatever they did together (I have really kept up with the lore). That would be amazing. A movie would be great I just think an anime series would be able to open up so many avenues and allow people to see the adventures of the people they read about and could only imagine in their wildest dreams. To live vicariously through these planeswalkers as you see them and the cards you play with come together in a beautiful universe. That would be sweet.

My local meta has started playing planeswalker EDH. I have no interest in investing heavily into another EDH deck so I'd rather just swap out the general. I run {G}{W}.       

THERE IS NO {G}{W} planeswalker. That's what I want to see. That's what I want.

Naya is a shard of Alara, a block from about 5-6 years ago where the world got split into 5 pieces representing the five allied tri colour combos, Esper, Grixis, Jund, Naya and Bant. Each shard had personality aspects that were based on the colours. Ajani comes from Naya, {W}{R}{G}.
