Personally, I would take out Jace and the 4 tutors. This deck can be easily ran without a vial. Tutoring for a vial or standstill seems like a waste of a turn IMO. I would just run 4 {brainstorm}, 1 more {daze}, and 1 more {standstill}.......if it was me

I would also consider {swords to plowshares} either in the main or SB.

I enjoy {Enlightened Tutor} allowing me to shuffle. But yeah, sounds good. Just happy to have a new badass Merfolk

I dunno, I like the vials, because it leaves your mana up for counters and you can flash in creatures as combat tricks. It can turn a Cursesnatcher into a manaless {Daze}.

I like to update my decks every year or so. Since Merfolk is pretty vanilla, I created the U/W edition, which started as an infinite life/token combo...into a Vanilla list...with expensive cards.
