I was going through my cards looking for stuff for my new EDH project, and I stumbled upon a card I had never heard of, {Blood Speaker}. I then wondered how I've gone this long without it in my {Kaalia of the Vast} deck!

What random awesome cards have you discovered while going through your collection?

This isn't cards but one time around Christmas when I was like 10 I was going through my sock drawer I found a random wallet with $100 in it! Then the next week, same drawer, and a $50 bill! My sock drawer is lucky

I found a {Solumn Simulacrum} lol I just started EDH last month so SS seemed like a meh card to me and I must have just put it into a box and forgotten about it but now it has a better home in my Uril deck!

On a separate note do you find Uril too powerful Moneekah? Like I'm about 10-1-0 when playing 1v1 and about 5-2-0 playing 4+ people.

Going through my packed boxes today and found my odyssey block R/G madness deck... Ahh the memories of that deck

Every time I endeavor to make an EDH deck I find amazing synergy. For my recent {Azami, Lady of Scrolls} build, {Tamiyo, the Moon Sage}'s -2 and {Master of Waves} being a Wizard are the two biggest. From my last deck, {Rafiq of the Many}, I found stuff like {Cold-Eyed Selkie} to draw cards off my exalted triggers and {Cephalic Constable} to control the board a bit, also with said triggers. A fun interation I found was {Medomai, the Ageless} with my Rafiq on board, lets me take 3 consecutive turns. 5 if I also happen to pull off {Finest Hour}, and 6 if you want to wrap it up with {Strionic Resonator} (Such a beautiful card, tuning fork <3).

Also, I discovered you can do slightly less broken things with {Tooth and Nail}... namely fetching {Avenger of Zendikar} and {Sublime Archangel}. (When I get a TnN, it's going straight into my Rafiq deck for this very purpose...)

I have had a "curse deck" for about 5 months now and going through cards found {bitterheart witch}, I IMMEDIATELLY decided I needed a play set and wound up at my lgs.

My collection is a combination of stuff I had when I was 8, stuff my dad gave me after his friend died and he stopped playing and some cards my music teacher who had given up on magic gave me, so I don't know every thing that is in there but one day while going through it I found I had like 12 of each of Urza's lands, all antiquities so like $90.

I'm pretty scattered, so when I build something new, my cards go everywhere. I've searched through a pile I thought was all commons and found my fourth {Fiendslayer Paladin}. I've also been flipping through a stack of packs I opened and found out that I had put a {Vampire Nocturnus} and a foil {Vampire Nocturnus} under that pile haha.
