....or is there anyone else out there that's getting tired of "Devotion" decks? I mean, it was fun and interesting in the beginning......but now, I'm over it. And it's annoying.

I love the concept of devotion, and I have a devotion deck myself, but I'm kinda getting bored of it dominating standard. I want something new and exciting!

i'm going to do a white devotion deck, maybe................. but i'm still enamored with heroic for now, and mayyybe boros enchantments

The only way I run devotion is by using Nykthos in my Kaalia deck, but otherwise I'm sick of it too.

Well unfortunately this is the longest wait between sets...so you've gotta deal with it till February or try a new format in the meantime.

It's apart of magic, and I feel that once mono-something is ID'd you'll have a sure fix in your deck to stop them - golgari charm and rakdos charm rock blue mono

Dark betrayal really upsets black mono also
They may have Erebos but not enough devo on board cuz I blew it all up! Sideboard an exile artifact/enchant for the gods always!

I like devotion I have a white/black extort/black devotion deck(all my whites have some black cost and the extort lets them damage opponents while staying back and not dying letting me build black devotion)  doesn't always win but it's kinda fun. I'm a big fan of devotion. I like using spells too though. If you don't like them then don't use them when I'm not in the mood for devotion decks I don't use them

This seemed just a pinch smart-alecky toward the end, even though I can tell you tried to not make it so noticeable by adding in the emoticons. But I guess if that was you're point, then good job?

We don't know that. We know there will be 2c gods, but the devotion mechanic may be replaced by something else, who knows?

Personally, I'm not a big fan of devotion anymore. It was cool initially to see an awesome mono blue deck that wasn't based on control, and see BBD take it home with a brew, but after that it got old. I use a Nykthos and a Master of Waves in my Azami EDH deck, but that's the extent of my devotion to devotion. UWR Control, still truckin'!

Agreed... My Izzet has weaknesses, but I try to find an answer, at least in the sideboard.

not really what I was going for O.o there's just no other way I can think of to say it. That's really how I see it.

Anyways.

My Rakdos and Golgari deal with Devotion nicely. It's just nice to see people run decks (even Esper counts.....I loathe it so much) that don't call for Devotion as the main win-con. It's just seems redundant after a while.
