So I am on a mission for a friend to get him every mill or mill like card since the first set release. I have most from the return to ravnica sets, but no others. so any help is appreciated! It's going to be an awesome birthday gift.

That's a lot of cards! Good luck :D

I play a lot of mill. In the card database, hit the magnifying glass, select text instead of name and just type in "library graveyard" without the quotes of course. That's how i find the older mill cards. A lot of other junk comes out of it but you also run across a lot of cool cards in the process

All black media promo {jace! memory adapt}.  I recommend stopping this deluded idea before you go bankrupt.  See also, {glimpse the unthinkable}, {helm of obedience} {jace, the mind sculptor} (his ultimate mills) etc.

That {Jace, Memory Adept} is so beautiful!!!!!

Thanks for the search idea. Also great card suggestions, and money isn't a issue, this is a person I grew up with. I'm willing to shell out some cash if I have to. It'll make his day lol

You are I willing to shell out thousands of dollars?  Can I be your friend?  My birthday is in June.

Always welcome new friends lol. But this friend is literally the only one I would drop this kinda cash for besides my fiancé. It's only going to be one if each, if he wants play sets he can get the rest lol.

Make sure to include the original mill card: {Millstone}! The older the version the better!

And if you get him a {Grindstone}, throw in a {Painter's Servant} for laughs!

That is a nasty little combo!

Best combo EVER! Lol

Also does the original text of {Millstone} (Revised) mean that you can put the cards in your graveyard? Bc it says target players gy

All versions read the same, the errata has just changed over time. And yes, since it targets a player, you can target yourself.

Mattao19

No I meant like target player puts 2 in target players GY can you target an opponent then target you so that their 2 cards go to your GY?

The oracle text is different

Due to errata, no. Like I said, all versions read the same, regardless of how the card actually reads, if that makes sense.
