My very first Standard deck (when I just started playing, though after I acquired cards for it) included 4 {Lingering Souls}, 2 {Sorin, Lord of Innistrad}, and 4 {Sublime Archangel}. My game plan was make a ton of souls, maybe get a couple Sorin emblems, or land a {Tormented Soul}, swing with a billion exalted triggers, then {Essence Harvest} for game. The deck was so inconsistent though because it was just before Mirrodin rotated and we had no {Godless Shrine}s. Still, that deck would roflstomp a lot of stuff out of nowhere. It was so fun to pilot.
