In magic set editor. I was messing around with casting costs for my set, and I discovered something weird. Shard mana... It was divided in three parts with the white, green and blue mana symbols all fitting in. Has anybody else who uses magic set editor discovered this?

It isn't on a card yet. It's in magic set editor if you do hybrid mana, then add another color on the proper side of the hybrid mana symbol

I believe it's something they invented to give other tools to set designers. There are some other things they created too, I can't remember off the top of my head, but some of the future sight frames and icons have no existed. Some of the frame options are invented also, like 3 color hybrid frames.

I vaguely remember Mark Rosewater answering a question on the triple mana symbols. His answer was something along the lines of "it is unnessiary because mana fixing should be more difficult"

There are soooooo many cool things in the set editor that don't exist you can download templates for card types like plagues or a four ability colorless planeswalksr
