I'm fine with just friends I have no need to get into a relationship honestly, since my ex and seeing so many other's throughout my family... Relationships just don't seem worth it just ends in chaos from experience. My one uncle for example, he's had glass removed from his hand once, his wife had been cheating on him and he became an alcoholic and smashed a window one day. My parents constantly argue and fight since dad's affair.

I'm kinda with DC on this.  I'm selfish, and relationships are costly.  In my experience, I end up spending money/time on things I really don't want to do.  Then I get bored and focus on something else or become irritated that I'm stuck in a movie theater for an hour or two watching some terrible movie and it all ends in an argument.  However, I've only been in one relationship (lasted a year and a half-ish) and it ended in a whole shitstorm of bad news.  So I've figured, why take the risk of that happening again?  I realize not everyone is the same and I've got a really immature view on this, but hey, my time and money are mine right now

And it's totally okay to be selfish, especially with your time and money, while you can. But eventually, life becomes more than just a self-serving existence. You'll find someone whom you want to spend time with, no matter the occasion. You'll make sacrifices and he/she will make sacrifices for you, because you love and respect each other. Sure, arguments and bad things will still come about; but after you've learned to choose your battles and give a little, then it's really not a big deal.

Who knows, maybe in the next decade or so, I'll grow up. I know where you're coming from Grixis, the whole thing had some awesome moments, but for me, it just wasn't worth it in the long run.
