I am only used to Naya colours but I want to play Blue bc it's fun too. Anyways about {Counterflux}

Say my opponent {Doom Blade}s my creature. I respond with {Negate} he responds with a {counterflux} on my negate. Can I then use another {Negate} on the original Doom Blade?

Yes. You're not countering the counterflux, you're countering the doom blade. The counterflux being on the stack doesn't prevent you from countering the other spell, you just can't counter the counterflux.

That's what I thought thanks

No problem. I'm glad to help. :)

Yes you can.

{Counterflux} only counters spells when it resolves. By playing {Negate} on top of the stack, it will resolve before {Counterflux}, thus countering {Doom Blade}.

{Counterflux} then resolves and counters the first {Negate}, but by then your creature is safe.

Edit: I assumed {Counterflux} was overloaded, apparently not.
