My theory is proven by its foil price of around 70. A card isn't 70 in foil because it sees standard play, to say the least.

Not sure he will get that high so quick, RTR has been overprinted, correct?
It was overprinted but the foil is already around $70 (or it was).

Yes but he was referring to the price of the non foil version.

He ment that because the foil was 70 that it is seeig a lot of modern/vintage/legacy play, so when rtr rotates and people can't hope to pack it anymore, the price will go up because of the play it sees.

Yes true, but I was simply indicating that I don't think the price will hit $50(non-foil) that quickly.

I thought it was common knowledge it receives heavy modern and legacy play.

Check again, it clearly says, "70 in foil".

I see him at least 50 a year after he rotates. He is one of the best 1-drops in magic. A staple 4-of in legacy AND modern. People probably run more deathrites than dark confidants.

Here is where he states $50...and later he mentions $70 for foil, which is its current price.

If you read his post he is basing his assumption on its price jump post rotation on his current foil price.

But really all I am concluding is that the non-foil version might not hit a price of $50 so quickly.

So many boners for the deathrite shaman. The card will not hit 50 dollars. 30 tops.

High is in it's name, just not that spelling. And it is one of the better mana dorks and it's legal in modern. I think it should be maybe 13.

It's a card from a small set when the game was less popular, so there just aren't a ton of copies floating around.

BUG infect, yo.
I find it unnecessary in infect.
Yeah, I never understood why people used the space... The spot is better filled with {Mutagenic Growth} or {Giant Growth}.

It's a mana dork with exalted!  That's awesome!  Immediately you're swinging in for 2 unblock able infect. Infect is quick and each little boost helps. On top of that, you can tap the hierarch for another pump spell. Is great.

I see the point of it but I think the slot is better suited to something that will help you win faster. Infect you have to win in the first couple of turns generally. The hierarch stalls you IMO when I could have already won.
