I don't like {predator ooze}, but I like when my opponent plays one because I just copy it and perma block it. My favorite is blocking with an {phantasmal image} that's coping the ooze.

RevolverGunman

That's what the Slimes are for, and Naturalize can always be replaced with Beast Within if clones are a problem.

ChrisRodriguez

Slimes and naturalize can't destroy indestructible. Coping {Predator ooze} makes the copy indestructible.

BlackJester

So it has a problem with one card in a given deck.  Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater here, most decks have silver bullets against them.

You could have your ooze pumped up higher by the time they get their copycat out, the copy won't have any counters on it, you can still kill the copy by targeting it with {Lure}, {Deadly Allure}, and yes even {Acidic Slime}.  It may be indestructible, by that won't prevent it from being sac'ed when targeted.

Edit: forget the slime, can't touch creatures. Ooze beats slime.

Silly illusions :p {phyrexian metamorph} is better :)

As Jester said, copy effects don't hurt this deck very much. Use Phantasmal Image and I can kill it 7 ways (10 if I sideboard in Beast Within). Metamorph is harder to deal with but can be played around with Lure. Thrun was in the original draft of this deck but the prevalent copy effects in the meta make him suboptimal compared to my other dudes.

Almosteric

I've got a dek sorta like this. It's posted under "deadly trees and sap"  (standard page 5)
I've found running four of the ooze can be kinda slow. {Deadly allure} definitely helps.
Have you considered {increasing savagery}? Or for much cheaper {travel preparations}.

Also you may want to run some {swamp}s or {woodland cemetery}s if you want to cast those {deadly allure}s. :)

RevolverGunman

The birds of paradise are more than enough black to cast the Allures, and adding Swamps and Cemeteries makes my Dungroves weaker. Once I playtest the deck a little more I'll see if I can worm Savagery in there because space is tight.

Prophylaxis

Sub out the {Naturalize}s for {Bramblecrush}, {Acidic Slime}, or {Beast Within}.

Planeswalkers are problematic.

RevolverGunman

Which ones exactly? In standard the only ones I can think of that would be a problem are Koth, new Sorin or Liliana, I can easily push through a creature through Lures to knock one out in one shot which means the turn they come down they have to do something. Jace mills me for 10? Okay no big deal, Elspeth makes soldiers? Great, lure plus predator ooze is gonna get 3 counters bigger, Garruk makes a beast? (Or sacrifices himself to draw cards which kills him for me) more Ooze fodder, Venser can bounce an Oring to my Ooze which kinda sucks but not life threatening.

Meanwhile on the problematic side Koth accelerates mana fast meaning a red deck can drop a big flier that I can't block and must Lure, Sorin creatures tokens and emblems I can't interact with outside of Lures and Liliana makes me sacrifice my creatures or denies me cards.

I was informed that lands that can produce two mana count as both types of lands? So I don't think cemeteries would make them weaker. But I might be wrong.

You were misinformed. The only non-lands that count as both are the old school dualies ({Bayou}) and the Ravnica block "Shock" lands ({Overgrown Tomb}). No other lands count as two basic types.
Edit: (That's why they are worth 💎💰)

{Karn liberated} will eat all of your oozes
My meta has them. It makes me a frowny faced lad.
