It always made it more personal when I was younger now I do it as a creative challenge. It's difficult to nickname as many pokemon as I have and still cone up with new serious names. The most joking nickiname I have on my team is Tinkerbell for my first ever farie type.

My current team has Tinkerbell, Glacier, Aizen, Ryuchi (dragon blood), Athena, and "Blaziken" who's name I cant change.
