3rd Place!

Went 4-1 with my Gruul Stomp deck tonight! Third place with pulls of {Medomai the Ageless}, {Ashen Rider}, {Xenagos, the Reveler}, and {Nighthowler} from my prize packs! My only loss was to a RDW, which  not upset about because they're so lame lol. So YAY!!!!

Sidenote: This was my first time competing in a Standard tournament. Fun stuff!

That's awesome, I love gruul it's so much fun to play, btw how do you view your trade binder so I can see if I have anything you would want to trade for your Xenagos? Sort of new so I haven't fully gotten the run around on this app yet lol

Thank you! The Mistcutter & the Stormbreath really did most of the work, and the Mortars & Ruric Thar cleaned up around the edges when things got messy

I may still Sideboard him, but he just really doesn't run fast enough or work with as much synergy as Xenagos & Garruk do. I can explode mana and tokens with Xeny and snatch up all of my Stormbreaths and Mistcutters with Garruk. And believe me, I've playtested the MESS out of this deck to make sure that the Planeswalkers in it are helpful/worthy of being a part of the deck.

True but a T2 Domri leads into the draw that you need to replenish your hand IMO. Like Garruk obviously is better at draw but he's a 6 drop so he's relatively slow even with your ramp. Anyways just my opinion.

And I bet it's awesome for you to see that your preparation paid off!!

To each their own. By turn 3, I can have most anything I need out and crashing around. I'm just so happy with this deck that I could cry.
