In my game I choose the grass starter because of the fact later in the game you get lapris. Lapris is op to the op power

Not a huge fan of lapras but I cant deny it's power especially early game. The only grass type I like starting with is Treeko an I dont want to double fire type. Im sure fire/flying and water/dark will couple well with the rest of what I can find by mid game.

Treeko was in Ruby Emerald Sapphire right?
He was always my favorite. Him and Mudkip and Squirtle. I love Charmander but literally only started with him in Fire Red. Other than that always went with Squirtle. In Y I'll probably get Grass Starter then Squirtle because they both have huge defense and decent attack plus with them giving away Torchic I won't need a flame starter

Well I'm in London, Ontario so it's a bit smaller average we get 20-30 and prizes are packs and store credit
