So I repacked my whole collection and still have 1600 commons left... What do you guys do with your commons? Use them as coasters, toss em? I know your LGS doesn't want em...

I hope someone just buys the huge lot for some gas money or a meal hah

I set up a freebie box at my LGS for new players to get what they want. I always throw bulk uncommon and commons in along with occasional rares that I don't need.

Gorzo

I just recently shipped mine to a new imtg member who was starting a new collection. Hope he got them, I haven't heard from him yet!

A lot of old timers at my lgs just leave their commons after drafting now, and either the store or a random player who wants them will grab em up :P

Give them to beginners, donate them to hospitals with cancer/multi-diseased children <3, and sometimes I make wallets out of them!

Pirate John

Sort through them then give the playables and slightly-playables to new players.

Coffee Vampire

Play mental magic with them! One deck. Two players. Both draw 7. Any card can be placed as a land. Lands tap for all colors. You play each card as a card in magic that has the exact same mana cost as it. The same card cannot be named twice. Have fun!

DirtyMustachio

Tcg player or star city buys them 1000  for 5 $

I made a wallet from {bellows lizard}s and {crimson muckwader}s. I'll make wallets for people if they mail me the cards + a rare worth $1-2 or more as payment ;)

A friend of mine (who I think spends way too much buying all the new cards instead of buying purposeful decks that will last) has packed all his commons into a box it weighs like 10 pounds and we call it the brick of commons.

Ooohh I also threw mine into a cube I use to draft with every once in a while.

Quisequise

I just store mine in the boxes of their respective sets.
