You and me both. Does asking my dad (who studied this kind of stuff in college) count as googling?

That's the average.  I want the instantaneous velocity when it hits the ground. You need to use calculus.
its not average, its the velocity at that time, which is the moment of impact. Just because i didn't use calculus doesn't mean i'm wrong, i just did it in a way i find easier.

Average velocity is total displacement over total time, yes? If I take displacement, 1609 m, over total time (18.12), I end up with 88.8, which is half of my result, the signifigance of which is not lost upon me, but I will explain it if I must.

He is within 20.  I'm not going to give a very specific amount, because that wouldn't be fun.  I'll give this contest 12 hours longer then give it to the closest person because it seems no one knows calculus.  :(

Sounds fair 😜

Ohhh.... My... Gawd.... Holy .loving. .poo.

Pardon my language, but that is the most rediculous prize I have ever seen. Unless of course you mean just the ftv20 FoF, and not the entire thing, which makes more sense :P

Woohoo! i think my mistake was in changing from miles to meters then meters to feet, but regardless, here is a logic puzzle, not math!
I have 11 identical coins and 1 that looks like the others but is either lighter or heavier. using a balancing scale, what is the minimum steps required to find the different coin? list each step.
First prize is a {Shardless Agent}!
