I couldn't find answer but if someone declares a blocker then before combat damage goes through to it they sac it. does combat damage go to player?

No, the creature is considered blocked. As long as they declare it a blocker before they sacrifice it, it doesn't deal damage.

Additional question though: What happens if the creature has trample?

All trample damage will go through. The trampling creature will be blocked by a 0/0.

That's what I thought but wanted to make sure you don't go off the sacrificed creature's toughness. Thanks ;)
