Drafting Theros

Have any of you tried a Theros draft yet? My buddies and I did a repack with the stuff we got from the prerelease and my R/W heroic deck was insane. I went 3-0!

I tried a Draft the day of the prerelease. In the first pack was {Master of Waves} so I decided to go blue and after being passed LOTS of black, I went Black/Blue. Don't go Blue/Black in Theros, just don't.

Lol, ^^^ this. But Green/Black works well! Even Green/Blue/Black.

Yes black blue is awful

Minotaurs all the way

Easy to splash black and green in sealed

Every person who has gone blue black - if you didn't draft a bomb - you didn't win. And blue/black have very limited amount of bombs in limited.

Due to basketball, I can't go to FNM for 2 more months

Due to soccer, I haven't been able to go to FNM this last week and might not be able to go this week You have it worse though, I'd quit basketball.

Good thing I enjoy basketball, 1/2 my class plays magic, and 4 other people on my STREET play...

U/W is very powerful, and it's easy to pull good tempo cards like {Journey's End}. Blue also has a LOT of bombs. White has removal, lifegain, enchantment creatures, and a couple bombs. Also note that bad counterspells are not bad in limited.

EDIT: oh and I might also add that minotaurs are extremely powerful if you draft enough.

Minotaurs have done nothing but good things for me in Theros. 2nd in a draft with friends and first at game day w/o having my Boros reckoners arrive in time (they were waiting in my mailbox when I got home though).
