I'd have to agree. I did post in the rules that players can only guess once...this rule was violated and disqualification seems the only right way to fix it. Sorry mlerner

An object falls from 1 mile above the earth's surface.  What is its velocity when it hits the ground?

wasnt sure which you wanted, so i gave both.

My work:
1 mile = 1609 m
x=.5at^2, a = acceleration = 9.8, x = displacement = 1609
1609 = .5(9.8)t^2
t = 18.12 seconds
v = at
v = 9.8(18.12)
v = 177.6 m/s and then i converted to feet.
