For me the main storyline was that of Wizard / Assassin / Thief (I actually finished that on Skyrim, while I did not in Oblivion) so for me the story is much better in Skyrim than Oblivion. I also finished the main main storyline in S while I got bored in O.
I think that Skyrim quests are better but I thought that Oblivion had a better overall storyline.

Never gotten to play dark souls but I've heard it's wonderful (and crazy challenging)
I'm quite honestly sick of skyrim because although the game was really great
Random dragons that spawn way beyond my level ruined it for me. Plus it's very glitchy I don't know how many times I've been killed by dragons/giants/random high level critters that were lagged into the ground and killed me from beneath my character -.-

Well, if you're interested it's available on steam for $7.49 for the next 30 hours or so.

Skyrim for PC. Dark souls controls are way too confusing and don't work for PC and I can't afford a controller. Skyrim is more open world and has more customization, and literally infinite quests. It is a lot easier though.

I rank them like this
1. Oblivion
2. Dark Souls II
3. Dark Souls
4. Skyrim

Oblivion is still my favorite fantasy RPG, but having played DS and DS2 I find them both to be AWESOME and although there are less things to do, they have skyrim beat by a mile in gameplay and combat systems. Oblivion is #1 just because it's like a happier skyrim + a nostalgia trip.

Dark Souls 100%. No coddling in that game.
