Stop fighting over religion.  We can never know in that regard, we can't force our ideals on ANYBODY.  So in a sense, your both right.  So stop being stupid and arguing about whose right when it is an opinionated ideal.

Incorrect. One of us can in fact be correct.

If person "A" says:
"The earth is flat"

Then person "B" says:

"I do not believe the earth is flat".

How do we determine who is correct? We use the scientific method, logic and reason, evidence and peer review. We do not say "it's just an opinion, everyone is entitled to their own view of if the earth is flat."

If you claim something like god to be true, you must prove it to me - or I reject the claim. The notion that people believe in the bible is funny to me - its absurd, delusional, and hysterical behavior.

I also do not like being told what I can and cannot talk about. I do not do it to anyone else, do not do it to me.
while I can understand moral, intellectual, and willful reasons of why you reject the Bible, I don't understand why you must antogonize me so.

Actually... They say they BELIEVE and are telling the truth in that... They're both right, technically.

Maybe I should just block you two for the time being, my headache is getting worse :(

the Earth is positioned in the perfect orbit to have temperatures that support life.

⚫How does this prove YOUR god did it, and not a ham sandwich in the phantom zone?
⚫Do you not see the irony in seeing how perfect that is only upon the fact that were able to observe this?
⚫Can this be explained naturally? Of course of can.

Quote from: IceScythe on September 15, 2013, 12:26:54 AM
our DNA makeup is far too complex to be some random string of primordial sewage that got smarter over the years.

⚫How does this prove god did it, and not Allah?
⚫You've misrepresented DNA, and then refuted your misrepresentation. We call that a "straw man argument". Look that up in a book, not the one you've been getting your information from thus far.
⚫Can this be explained naturally? Of course of can.

Quotethere has yet to be another planet with life on it,
⚫How does this prove YOUR  god did it, and not Zeus?
⚫"if man were meant to fly, he'd be born with wings!" We haven't explored the entire galaxy...this is not sufficient proof of anything. No reason to believe we're alone in the universe.
⚫Can this be explained naturally? Of course of can.

Quotefossils of sea creatures have been found atop mountains and this supports the theory of the great flood,
⚫Outright lie. Worst of all logical fallacies.
⚫The great flood is not a theory.

Quotethere is evil in the world, a direct result of the fall of man, and there is good in the world, which is a direct result of God.
⚫God allows there to be evil, he is powerless to stop it.
⚫The definition of good and evil have changed since the bible was made up. If you're going to live your life based on the word of god - then no one on this message board is going to heaven.

So, anyway, Chewbacabra anyone? Jersy Devil? Bigfoot actually lives in my area •~•

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

no icescythe, by all means keep fighting.  I don't mind, I don't think anybody else does either.  I'm just getting a headache (that apparently doesn't exist) and I needed to blame something.  So I blamed you two, nothing personal, just needed the scapegoat. :)

Apathy Reactor

No seriously, I'm done fighting. It is pointless to attempt to move an unmovable mass. But on a serious note... Bigfoot lives near me!

I can tell you why, lazy bastard doesn't check his inbox. Just sits around, shoots a few beef jerky commercials for spending money, and hits trees with other trees. He's not really that exciting a fellow.

Makes sense, he doesn't seem like a very motivated guy.
