Dude {Progenies of the great Apocalypse} is an awesome tune, and going back to what you said. Anytime I mention my favorite bands even to a quote unquote "Metal Head" they say who are they?

I know what you mean! It's so funny you say that, we ARE the true metal heads ;)

Yes sir. It truely sickens me when people consider bands like Bullet for my Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, etc to be real metal. Don't get me wrong they are good bands but maybe they should broaden their horizions a little bit and find out what Real Metal is all about.

I completely agree. Although Bullet and A7x I do consider metal just in a different subgenre. There's SO many subgenres to metal, thrash, power, death, doom, black, melodic death, Nu, electronic, speed, etc are ALL subgenres of metal. As for what I'm listening to now...

I don't listen to metal very often. I prefer ACDC, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, ect.

I try not to get into subgenres of metal. It's too confusing, and it only creates conflicts between people who enjoy the same genre of music.

Lately I've been into instrumental bands, or as I like to all it, Instumetal!

Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden

My fave band of all time. I can listen to all their songs over and over and not get sick of them

Personally, I love most genres of metal. Progressive, melodic, power, thrash, death, whatever. Only one I really couldn't stand was Nu.
