No power 9 in legacy. Those are restricted to vintage. And while the combo works in legacy, and in fact you probably have access to better combo pieces, you're going up against much more powerful and resilient decks than you would be in modern. Counter magic and hate are much more potent in legacy.

Counter magic and discard spells are so prevelant in legacy you'll rarely get off a second sunrise.  Unless you can go off turn 2-3 like other legacy combo decks you might just want to go affinity if you want to stick with artifacts and a legacy/modern legal deck.
