My dream car is a truck. Any truck. It doesn't much matter. I'm tired of trying to haul stuff in the soccer mom car.

Down to earth, as always :P

EvACiDe

You could prob haul stuff with a 750 hp Lamborghini :)

I work on cars for a living, (...). My dream car would probably be a Ford GT40.

I hear they break a lot, so if you love your job, that would make a lot of sense to me ;)

Fords in general, or the GT40 specifically? I've never worked on one, but it sounds expensive. I'll stick with imports for now, they're easy and they make a ton of aftermarket stuff for them.

EvACiDe

I agree, with imports there's a limitless amount of aftermarket mods.

EvACiDe

I think I might go with the coupe lol

Can you drive Standard transmission (manual)? Because I recommend that unless you live in a high traffic area or a place with a lot of hills.

Fords for the most part are pretty solid cars.

Agreed. It's the only way ill drive anymore. Get a much better connection to the vehicle and the road.

Tell that to 1980 - 1990's

Hahaha! Well for an American made car they are pretty reliable.

EvACiDe

I've decided on the coupe! Yellow color ;) 333 hp @ 6400 rpm

Look into the Mazda Speed3? That car is super fun to drive. Less horsepower (around 260-270) but it well made and you'll be whipping turns with a smile.

I don't know too much about the Genesis coupe, I've driven a few but never hard (customer cars). Hyundai's seem to have addressed their reliability issues recently, but those cars don't have the mileage and service records to accurately reflect their reliability.

True, and I think I'll give the speed3 a drive. I mean it wouldn't hurt to test it out at least. I also test drove the Nissan rogue which impressed me. It's quite quick for a SUV.

Don't get a truck, because then everyone and their mother will be asking you to help move stuff for them.

GT40, I remember a thing when Clarkson from Top Gear bought one for the looks and nostalgia, but returned it after a month or two of failures. It was just after they released the thing.

Then again, I'm told one should never buy a car starting with F, like Fiat, Ford and French. As with any good rule, the exception to this one is Ferrari.
