Just fell off a ladder. I was goofing off so it was my own fault. Don't worry I caught myself with my head so don't worry I can still play mtg my hands are perfectly fine!

Lockjaw is no fun. Showed those wasps though. Anyone know how long I should expect my jaw to hurt? Hit on the top back of my head cuz when I jumped off it caught my foot.

Your jaw hurts from hittin the back of your head? I'd guess prob about a week at most.

gtfotis

My head hurt just reading this... D:

No problem. Probly just a minor contusion

DirtyMustachio

Yeah all the other employees are doting on me and are making me wait to see if I might have a concussion. I guess I tried jumping from the 4th step up.

EvACiDe

Do you feel disoriented or nauseous?

DirtyMustachio

Not nautious, I do think I'm off a little bit. I can see straight when I put my glasses on. We joked about how they flew off and I had blurry vision. I think im just letting my head stabilize.

EvACiDe

Ok well disorientation is normal since you whacked your head obviously lol but as long as you aren't nauseous, I don't think you have a concussion. I got one before, got SO nauseous and started puking so hard

That sucks, man.  Take two new booster packs for your pain and one each day thereafter until symptoms subside. If you experience any pain beyond a few days consult a real physician and not some random mtg fanatic.

EvACiDe

Although sometimes the symptoms for a concussion can be very subtle so I'd still get it checked out. Other symptoms include amnesia, dizziness, ringing in the ears, slurred speech and confusion. If you notice changes in behavior, get it checked out quickly.

Well I am by no means pretending I'm a doctor because I'm not, so your physician would know more than me but I CAN recognize a concussion if I see it. I'm not JUST an mtg fanatic but have worked in an emergency room.

I find that unusual. I've never heard that before. Are you sure you didn't hit your jaw too on the way down? As for lockjaw, unless you have tetanus, I'm sure you dont have that lol. You didn't cut yourself on any rusty nails did you? :P
