Good point, he fits well with Xenagos' flavor:

I also like the flavor text... Reminds me of some of my college days...

So hello to the beefy BoP. Yes, he costs {1} more than {Birds of Paradise}, but he's got quite a bit more survivability than the BoP.

Why are Satyr's making mana? I don't understand the flavor. They're carefree (red) and adapt to nature at all costs (green) but what is the idea of then creating rituals?

I get Cerebus - that was a flavor homerun and some of the best I can remember in a long time. Master of Tides I understand - that was another fantastic one.

The mana for this plane seems more based in ispiration than other planes. The satyr could stoke the mana itself with their carefree nature and cause it to flare up and grow almost in celebration with them. Their joyous effects are not restricted to sentient beings.

I really like the w/u legendaries I see here for commander. {Daxos of Meletis} in particular looks like a lot of fun.

Satyrs, by playing their Pan pipes during celebrations, can cause things to grow. So this growth can translate into mana, which fits the flavor...
