What do you recommend pre-ordering for Theros? What is going to shoot up after it releases?

Without a full spoiler this question can't be answered. We can easily speculate about what will likely see play but you wont be able to preorder those cards any cheaper than their end price.

Yeah, but Theros Pre-ordering started and I went crazy for a second (I was thinking *must...click...buttons...*) Now that the insanity has passed I looked and realized they are asking WAY too much for 90% of the cards.

Why is Purphoros pre-ordering at $24.99?!? It will probably end up around $5-10 a month after it releases. On a side note Xenagos is preordering at $40, which really isn't that horrible, he will probably spike as the set comes out and end up around $25-15 at least until the next set comes out.

I completely agree with you on these. Reasons really help those who don't fully grasp pricing. Planeswalker hype is still a thing and a easy way for a store to make extra money from those who cant wait to have their set or can't find anyone to trade the last one or two to complete their set. As for all the gods, they are good cards but the $25-$50 in standard is reserved for cards that popular archetypes can not win without. $10-$20 is good rare staples that see a fair amount of play. $5-10 is a majority of playble rares that actually are seeing play. We cant really say what will see play yet, but we can tell what you don't 100% need to be competitive.

I am thinking {Mizzium Mortars} might go up to around $5 or more (it has already been rollercoastering) if Xenagos, the Reveler mana ramp decks get too big.

I preordered 4x{gift of immortality}, 4x{polis crusher}, and 6x{reaper of the wilds} all for roughly $35 after shipping. I am super happy because these all seem super undervalued right now.

Not true. I love this card and have multiples of them so I've been keeping track. It dropped a couple weeks ago but is now slowly climbing back up. 2 weeks ago it was under $14.
